Lately, we have seen a revival of the idea of being able to travel through space and explore new areas of our universe. Recent space missions like Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos with Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin, and Elon Musk’s SpaceX company, have rekindled all this interest, not least because here we are running out of space and our presence is increasingly affecting the planet. Vizzio Art Creators Lab wants to explore how humans will colonize another part of the universe.

 

But, imagine that we will be able to combine spacial missions with NFTs? It was amazing, isn’t it? This is why Homo Spacien (https://homospacien.io/) was born. And… what is Homo Spacien?

A few years ago, we attached value to tangible goods that we could touch and see (gold, stamps, works of art), and now we increasingly do so with intangible goods that we mostly see, but probably cannot touch. We call this the digital revolution. As we well know, we are living a digital transformation change, we are increasingly using more digital objects and leaving behind everything more tangible. Cryptocurrencies are an approximation to that principle, but Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) go a bit further and apply that concept of the store of value to those more collector-oriented objects.

 

Unlike cryptocurrencies, NFTs cannot be exchanged with each other, as no two NFTs are the same. As explained in Coindesk:

With the NTF revolution, cryptocurrency lovers are knowing how to take advantage of it and are starting to come up with very interesting and useful projects for the evolution of the universe. Besides, the interest in spatial missions is starting to grow again, but it is a big milestone and requires a lot of infrastructure, money, and time. But… what if we can simulate it with this new trend about NFT? Homo Spacien, the one I am going to explain today, is not far behind.

 

What is Homo Spacien?

Homo Spacien (https://homospacien.io/) is a collection of 10,000 unique NFTs that live within the blockchain and are intended to be an example of this. The idea is that the Homo Spacien collection will parallel the scientific and physical influences that will impact how humans look, dress and interact with each other as they explore galactic environments. The idea is that these NFTs are a sort of metaverse of what we will see as we do these special missions and find new places, an immense madness, which is very little removed from reality!

The Homo Spacien collection will symbolize the recent space exploration activity, from people like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, in the coming years through Conceptualization and interpreting how we humans will evolve and where we will go through the various space travel in terms and characters like fashion, the way we will do it, the accessories, environmental factors, etc. All factors that may vary such as skin color, which is estimated to change with solar radiation, will be taken into account.

 

Who created Homo Spacien?

The creators are a large group of artists, developers and cryptography enthusiasts. Vizzio Art Creators Lab is the creative division of Vizzio Art.

 

If we take a look deeper and explore more about them, we will see that they are not just any character who just started drawing and designing collections from one day to the next. We can see that the trajectory is much broader, and therefore, there is a team behind them that knows what they are doing.

 

During these last days, I have explored a lot of their website and I have visited some channels about them and their work and the truth is that I have been surprised. There is no doubt that their NFT will be impressive and will captivate more than one.

 

The most important info that I caught up is that Vizzio Art Creators Lab comprises a group of artists, creatives, developers and project managers who thrive in the creative world and push the boundaries to create amazing NFT collections. The developers have designed software that generates this art automatically and randomly by computer that includes many traits and rare blends of the elements of the artwork.

 

The collection and the features

This is one of my favorite parts. Unlike many other collections, Homo Spacien has very different attributes and is based on a scenario full of combinations that make its NFTs even more attractive and unique. Each of them will have its own characteristics and very few will share the same traits. This is one thing to keep in mind when acquiring or mining our NFT.

 

Going into detail, the collection is designed as Digital Collage Art using geometric shapes and randomly combined with many features using computer-generated software as stated above. Thousands of permutations and combinations form a set of 10,000 unique Homo Spaciens, each with its own style, rarity and scarcity. The collection is a project conceptualized by Vizzio Art Creators Lab, from a group of 154 attributed and 13 different traits.

Homo Spaciens brings together many interesting elements that describe how humans will evolve physically and technologically to address environmental conditions. The NFT collection unites the main traits of Face and Body, Skin Colors, Hair Types, Eyes, Lips and Background with rare traits such as Skin and Face Textures, Gemstone Eyes, Eye Evolutions, Eye Triangles, Eye Circles, Eye Accessories, Mosaic Lips, Space Dresses, Necklaces, Head Accessories, Earrings, Spaceships, Glass and Halo Shields and Planets.

Each Homo Spacien will be able to be minted at a starting price of 0.045 ETH.

 

How can I acquire a Homo Spacien in NFT form?

Step 1:

Our first step will be the installation of MetaMask (https://metamask.io) and configuring the wallet.

Step 2:

Then, we will need to connect the wallet to the Homo Spacien website so you can use the minting interface to select how many Homo Spaciens you wish to purchase.

Step 3:

On the “female” Homo Spacien collection delivery date, we will be able to select a number of Homo Spaciens you would like to purchase (maximum 3) and then click “mint now”.

Step 4:

Once we have selected the number of NFT we wish to purchase, we will need to approve the transaction through MetaMask.

Hint: Make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet for the desired amount of Homo Spaciens considering also what the Ethereum network charges.

Step 5:

If successful, we will be one of the lucky owners of the Homo Spacien collection. Our NFTs will appear in your wallet on the same day of minting, once we have connected your wallet, selected the Homo Spaciens number and clicked “Mint Now”. Once purchased, we will be able to either hold them or offer them for sale on secondary marketplaces such as Opensea.

Conclusion

In my opinion, owning a Homo Spacien is not just about having another random NFT avatar. It’s about being part of a project that will provide access to exclusive space-related events, presales, merchandise, giveaways, access to the Digital Art & NFT platform, Vizzio Art and more. Events as important as those that have been carried out from missions of celebrities and celebrities like Elon Musk, which have had so much talk in the world of cryptocurrencies so far.
